Integrating Postman with Escape's ASM enhances API ecosystem management by incorporating your Postman collections.

Discovered Resources

The Postman integration automatically discovers and inventories the following resources from your Postman organization:

  • Postman Collections: API collections containing request definitions, schemas, and endpoint specifications

These discovered collections are analyzed and their API definitions are automatically classified as Assets (APIs) in Escape's ASM, enabling continuous security monitoring and testing.

Create a Postman API Key

  1. Go to your API Key page
  2. Generate a Postman API Key (not a collection API Key)
  3. Copy the generated token immediately - it cannot be viewed again
