Escape Copilot Overview (Beta)¶

Introduction¶

The Escape Copilot is designed to streamline your interaction with the Escape platform, enhancing productivity and efficiency. It leverages the Model Context Protocol (MCP) on the Public API, enabling automated responses tailored to your specific data and cybersecurity context.

What is the Model Context Protocol (MCP)?¶

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard developed by Anthropic to facilitate seamless integration between large language models (LLMs) and external tools, services, and data sources. Often likened to the "USB-C of AI applications," MCP provides a universal interface that allows AI systems to interact with various resources in a standardized manner.

Copilot Capabilities¶

Application Management¶

Create Applications: Define new applications by specifying essential details such as name, URL, type (e.g., GraphQL, REST, Frontend), location, and configuration.

Update Applications: Easily update application details including name, location, and scheduling options.

List Applications: Retrieve a complete list of all applications managed within your platform.

Get Application Details: Obtain specific details about any application using its unique ID.

Scan Management¶

Start Scans: Initiate security scans to proactively identify vulnerabilities within your applications.

Check Scan Status: Monitor the progress and status of ongoing or completed scans.

List Scan Issues: Access detailed reports highlighting vulnerabilities and security issues detected during scans.

List Scan Events: Review chronological events associated with scans, providing insights into the scanning process.

Domain Management¶

Create Domains: Add new fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) to manage and monitor effectively.

Delete Domains: Remove unnecessary domains from your managed list.

List Domains: View a comprehensive list of all domains under management.

Get Domain Details: Retrieve detailed information about specific domains using their IDs.

Access to Scan Archives¶

Get Exchange Archive URLs: Obtain URLs to access detailed scan exchange archives, facilitating deeper analysis of scan outcomes.

Privacy and Security¶

Your Copilot chat is entirely scoped to your Public API access, and entirely hosted by Escape.

The Copilot strictly adheres to cybersecurity best practices and prioritizes user privacy. Information provided by users is processed securely, and it is recommended to share only necessary data to facilitate effective interaction.

Limitations¶

The Copilot is designed specifically for interacting with the Escape platform, focusing exclusively on cybersecurity-related tasks. It does not support queries or activities outside its intended operational scope.
