# Roles Management

The [roles management page](<https://app.escape.tech/organization/roles-next>) allows you to list, create, and manage roles.

## Creating a Role

> Creating a role requires a global admin role.

The [role creation page](<https://app.escape.tech/organization/roles-next/create>) allows you to create a new role. When creating a role you must select the permissions that the role will have and give it a name. You can also create role bindings alongside the newly created role. This will grant the permissions of the role to the selected users within the selected projects.

> The name, permissions and the role bindings of a role can be edited in the role details page after its creation.

## Audit Logs

Critical operations happening on roles (creating, deleting, and changing permissions or role bindings) are audited and can be viewed in the audit logs page.
